Century old fire alarm system continues to fight flames
While on one hand, the Pakistan Railways is constantly criticised for its poor service, on the other hand, its fire system is not only effective but also compliant with modern standards, despite being over a 100 years old. This remarkable fire alarm system was created in 1908 and has 86 different locations in the Lahore Railway network directly connected to it.
