Sonam Wangchuk's Wife Gitanjali Angmo Exclusive : 'Dharmendra Pradhan Should Resign' | CJP Protest

Gitanjali Angmo, Sonam Wangchuk's wife and co-founder of the Himalayan Institute of Alternatives, Ladakh, discussed his health on the 25th day of his fast. She said he had lost 11 kilograms and muscle mass, while his vitals, electrolytes and blood sugar remained stable. Angmo said the demand for accountability in the education system, including Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, remained in place, stating, "He should resign." She added that Wangchuk wanted protection for protesting students from FIRs, arrests and police action. Angmo alleged that non-student miscreants had caused violence during an otherwise peaceful protest and accused the government of planning a crackdown. She said the movement was apolitical, welcomed support across parties, and focused on education reform, students and national interest.
