Why automotive Cyber Security is important for connected vehicles : Khushwant Pawar
The multiple connectivity solutions of future cars will require big data analysis to keep a check on the usage patterns and driver behaviour patterns. Khushwant Pawar, Head of Cyber Security Solutions Mobility, ETAS Automotive believes that these connectivity mega trends are not going to cannibalize each other rather they will compliment each other. With new era of digitisation in automotive space, disruption is quite inevitable. At this stage the challenge will be to maintain security in the era of digital disruption, he added. Digitization will make cars more prone to attacks and going forth this may take humans safety at risk as well. Therefore he stressed on implementing automotive cyber security systems in such vehicles.
