Verse 1 The mighty sea was split by holy hand, The waters stood like walls on either side, A path appeared across the desert sand, To lead the chosen safe across the tide. A piece of bread fell softly from the sky, To feed the hungry souls along the way, We look above to see the Lord on high, Who guides our steps through every passing day. Chorus Our God has built a grand and perfect plan, So lean on Him and do not rely, On all the fragile thoughts of mortal man, But trust the power coming from the sky. With just five loaves of bread and fish from sea, A thousands-strong assembly ate their fill, The Savior showed what true belief can be, And everything obeys His holy will. Bridge The stone was rolled away to show the space, Where death was beaten by the living Word, A shining light of pure redeeming grace, The greatest miracle the world has heard. The heavy storms obey His calm decree, The broken hearts are healed by gentle hand, He rules the earth and skies and open sea, With wisdom that we cannot understand.
