JESC 2016: Interview with Klesta (Albania 2016)

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 takes place in the Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC) in Valletta, Malta on Sunday, 20 November 2016. A total of 17 countries are participating: Albania, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cyprus, FYRO Macedonia, Georgia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malta, Poland, Russia, Serbia, The Netherlands and Ukraine. The Delegations and many International Media are in Valletta, Malta to enjoy the biggest annual European music event for children. From the official welcoming ceremony onwards, everyone is focussed on not only delivering a good individual performance, but also to promoting the values in this year’s Junior Eurovision logo #Embrace. When they aren’t busy rehearsing, the youngsters have had the opportunity to discover some of the sites and get to know some of the people from historic Malta. Radio International is on hand to interview some of the young performers but also with personalities that work at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 such as the hosts of the show Valerie Vella and Ben Camille. Valerie Vella has been working with the Junior Eurovision for quite a number of years and has also hosted the national final of Malta to the Eurovision Song Contest. Also Ben Camille has hosting experience as he has hosted the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2016 but also is a TV personality in Malta.
