Ranieri's Greek Pronunciation Chronology Spreadsheet: https://bit.ly/RanieriGreekPronunciation This recording is unique in that it preserves all long and short vowels and syllables, as well as the correct scansion and rhythm of the phrase, as encountered in Ancient Greek poetry, and even a rather plausible interpretation of the Ancient Greek pitch accent system (very different from the stress accent system of English, Italian, Latin, and others). It represents my best attempt at the pronunciation of Classical Attic Greek (roughly 500 B.C. to 400 B.C.). When using these videos, pause after each phrase, and repeat after me. Try to emulate what I do as exactly as possible: clearly pronounce the long and short vowels, the long and short syllables, and follow the rhythm and the melody of the phrase just like music.
