“Come and Get Your Love” by Redbone – SoCo Women’s Chorus | Live in Austin, Spring 2025 Concert

“Come and Get Your Love” performed by SoCo Women’s Chorus, recorded live at our concert “Americana: The Story of Our Roots” in Austin, Texas – May 2025. 📖 Program Notes: Redbone fused rock, funk, R&B, Native American, and Latin influences into a groundbreaking sound. Released in 1974, “Come and Get Your Love” made Redbone the first Native American band to reach the Top 5 on the US pop charts. Emphasizing love and unity, the song encourages "the corning together of different peoples," according to co-founder Pat Vegas. Music by Lolly Vegas, arr.
