An evening with Mircea Cartarescu, master poet, novelist, literary critic, journalist, Professor Emeritus at the University of Bucharest, member of the Romanian Writers' Union, Romanian PEN America in conversation with his translator Sean Cotter, Professor of Literature and Translation Studies at The University of Texas at Dallas, and Valentina Izmirlieva is Professor in Columbia’s Slavic Department and Director of the The Harriman Institute at Columbia University.
