Is Preheating the Cafelat Robot Worth a Shot?
In this video I go through the pre-heat methods I have adopted after about four months of using the robot as my primary espresso machine. I would like to give thanks to Doug Orton for being so helpful and always willing to share his ideas. Also to Gary Siu for developing the rubber band hack to keep the arms up into a magnet hack! Also to Grant Michael Levkoff for his thoughtful feedback on how to get the most out of the Robot and to Claudio Santoro who developed the idea of blocking the portafilter with silicone. I hope this video is helpful to people trying to learn preheat methods for The Cafetlat Robot.
