From Pune to Nashik, I rode with Nikhil Balakrishna—an Indian national rallyist, multiple-time winner, and one of my favorite riders in the country. Instead of taking the highway, we went deep into parts of the Great Indian Trail—through broken roads, random trails, and stretches where there was absolutely no one around. What should’ve been a 200 km ride… stretched into nearly 13 hours. And somewhere in the middle of nowhere… both our bikes got punctures. But that’s the thing about the road— the toughest days often become the most memorable ones. From Ahmedabad, the journey took another turn. I met friends like Tribhuvan, and Naveed Alam, who joined the ride on his Yamaha RX100 as part of his All India ride. And together… we continued riding towards Kutch.
