Spoilers through episode 5. Soooo, new ship. Like, they're so cute it's killing me slowly ship. The show is very much in the vein of Doctor Who, Primeval and Warehouse 13 etc. Basically, it's campy but seriously awesome and if this makes you at all curious, you should really check it out.
