Shishi City in Fujian Province was named after the stone lions in front of Fengli Nunnery in ancient times. It was later famous for its clothing industry. Many of the delicacies here are of ancient southern Fujian cuisine. The garlic branche, letter cup cake, fried rice cake, Run cake and fried sea oysters in the traditional market are dazzling to see. The night market food stalls mainly include snails, peanut butter snails, chirp snails, fried conch slices, and conchs, all of which are addictive.
