Crash Bandicoot Warped - E3 Demo (May 14, 1998 prototype) #3 [BONE YARD]
========================[DESCRIPTION]========================= I had a great experience with the May 14, 1998 demo/prototype version of Crash Bandicoot Warped, a version that was still in the early stages of the third game in the franchise. We can see that it was in the final stages of development; there was a lot of material that hadn't yet been added to complete it. The time-warping machine scenario is incredible; I really liked it. The memory card reading system hadn't been developed at that time, so it wasn't possible to save any progress, and there was only one portal room, which is the medieval time room. The other rooms hadn't been designed yet, so we only had 5 levels in total, which are the oldest of all: (Gee Wiz), (Under Pressure), (Bone Yard), (Mindnight Run), and (Tomb Time). The only level that remained in its original position until the final release of the game was (Under Pressure). In that version, it's positioned on platform number 2. Even in the latest version of Crash Bandicoot Warped, it remained in its original position. (Gee Wiz) has quite a few differences, mainly the way to access its bonus route, which is a futuristic underground route. This led me to come up with some theories, but you'll only know about them when I release a documentary on my second channel, "DR_Shemp_Maker". (Mindnight Run) doesn't seem to change much; the organization of the objects is the same as we see in the final version of the game to this day. The only differences are the sound effects of the tiger cub, the tamer, and the ramp held by a worker from the Great Wall of China. (Bone Yard) also has differences; the bonus route didn't exist yet, and on the path to the right, there's an egg to collect the baby dinosaur. If you follow it to the end, the chase won't happen. (Tomb Time) has many absurd differences, especially in the alternate route at the end, and some sound effects we've never heard before. The only thing that remained consistent until the final game's release was its bonus route. That's all I managed to gather during my playthrough, but I'll soon be making a documentary on my secondary channel about everything in this version.
