A Champion's Lap | 2026 Le Mans Winner Toyota #7 Tribute Run

The 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans may be in the history books, but there was no way I was going to let the celebration pass without taking the victorious #7 Toyota for a tribute run around the Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans Ultimate. What a machine. The first thing that stands out is just how much fun this car is to drive. It strikes a fantastic balance between speed, stability, and confidence, allowing you to push harder each lap while still demanding focus and precision. The deeper I got into the session, the more I appreciated why cars like this have become legends in endurance racing. Of course, the real star of the experience is the circuit itself. Circuit de la Sarthe is absolutely massive. Every lap feels like its own adventure, combining long straights, high-speed commitment corners, technical braking zones, and enough variety to keep you challenged no matter how many laps you've completed. Even after multiple laps, it still feels like there is always another section to refine, another braking marker to perfect, or another tenth of a second to find. That is part of what makes Le Mans so special. It's not just a race track—it's a true test of concentration, consistency, and endurance. This tribute run was my way of celebrating an incredible victory while enjoying one of the greatest combinations in motorsport: a legendary prototype and one of the most iconic circuits in the world. Congratulations to Toyota and the #7 crew on an unforgettable Le Mans victory.
