Artificial Intelligence Colloquium: Accelerating Chemistry with AI

Speaker: Dr. Anne Fischer, Program Manager, DARPA / Defense Sciences Office Today, synthetic chemistry requires skilled experts working to discover, make and test new molecules. Current approaches are mired in slow, iterative design/test cycles with poor reproducibility and scalability, relying heavily on human intuition and domain expertise. DARPA is exploring how AI can help automate traditionally human-centric efforts to accelerate innovation in chemistry.
