GOLD MONSTER 2000 VS GARRETT AXIOM, a low tech field test.

I bought a GM2000 almost 2 months ago and have done very well. However, I have a few patches that need to be "deep cleaned". I don't have the money for a high end PI machine, so I thought I'd give the USA made Grrett Axiom a try. I was able to get a great deal on a slightly used one from Cody Blanchard of Heritagegoldrush.com, so the purchase was not too painful. I was skeptical given mixed reviews on the Axiom, but I have to say it has done exactly what I hoped it would. This unscientific, impromptu field test confirms what I had hoped I had bought. In the end, I find bigger deeper nuggets with the Axiom after I've sniped up all the surface bits with the Monster. Check it out! BTW Cody Blanchard does a great paper comparison of the two machines.
