Tip 13 will be 14 separate videos of 14 situations that an offense will encounter from a defense and what offensive scheme you need to counter each one of them. This Tip 13-1 is about using Pin and Pull blocking when the defense has two defensive tackles that are too strong to move out of their gaps. Coach Renner details the use of counter and trap blocking schemes against strong defensive tackles. He then details how to maximize these blocking schemes using your formations and scouting the opponent’s defensive alignment to run these schemes at the same defensive tackles alignment, counter to the shade and 5 technique and trap to the 3 technique.
