A fourth National Award for Mammootty. The actor has been recognized for his outstanding performance in the film Bramayugam. Kartik Aaryan shares the award with Mammootty for his performance in the movie Chandu Champion. Yami Gautam won the Best Actress award for her performance in Article 370, which was also selected as the Best Film. Feminichi Fathima has been chosen as the Best Malayalam Film. Cinematographer Shehnad Jalal (Bramayugam) and singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi are the other shining stars from Kerala.
