In this Physics video lecture in Hindi for class 11 and IIT JEE we discussed how work done is the dot product of torque and the angular displacement. It seems, then, that the angular displacement is a vector quantity whose direction is determined by the right hand rule. To determine the direction for angular displacement we have to curl four fingers of right hand and place that on the plane on which the angle is made; the direction, hence, shown by the thumb is the direction of the angular displacement. Similarly, direction is associated with torque also.
