Sekeluarga Kotabumi Terseret Ombak di Pantai Pesisir Barat

CENTRAL COAST (July 9, 2025) – A family from North Lampung was swept away by waves while swimming at Labuhan Jukung Beach in Kampung Jawa, Pesisir Tengah District, Pesisir Barat Regency, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM WIB. Three people survived, but the head of the family is missing. Pesisir Tengah Police Chief, AKP Hadly Nasution, reported that four visitors drowned after being swept away by waves at Labuhan Jukung Beach. They were a family from Simpang Kandis Ulu Sungkai, Gedungraja District, North Lampung. The victims were husband and wife Aldi Suparman, also known as Aliman bin Sukemi, 38, and Megawati, 35, and two children: Risap Ega Putra, 15, and Kaira Angela. His wife and two children survived. Aldi Suparman, meanwhile, drowned. The North Lampung family was having a picnic at Labuhan Jukung Beach at 11:00 AM WIB. His wife and children were bathing until Megawati screamed for help as her two children were swept away by the waves. Aldi Suparman rose from his seat and jumped into the sea to help his wife and two children. Two visitors assisted in the rescue. Tragically, the head of the family drowned, swept away by the large waves. The man apparently couldn't swim. A joint search and rescue team from the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Water Police Unit, the Samapta Unit of the Pesisir Barat Police, and the Pesisir Tengah Police, along with fishermen, combed the coast and dived near the sinking point.
