What is an Archetype?

This video explores contemporary and historical interpretations of #Archetypes in myth and story. It includes ideas and content from #philosophy, #psychology, #literature and other subjects. Many of the ideas were inspired by Dr. Jordan Peterson's lectures on the subject. The ideas have been reduced to their simplest forms so that I could help my students understand the basics as fast as possible. This video was not intended to be a deep and complete exploration of the subject, but rather the fastest possible overview. As a result, some accuracy has been sacrificed in the name of simplicity and speed (in that order). This video was originally created for my English Language Arts 10 class in Canada. All spelling errors are intentional. (probably)
