Besides revealing the route step by step (a safe route with a beautiful gateway), we share strategic stops and useful tips for those who want to make this trip hassle-free. We left Recife and enjoyed the road at a leisurely pace, passing through Belo Jardim and Sanharó, where we stopped for lunch. In Custódia, we slept at the Hotel do Sertão, located inside the Sertão Gas Station, a place with excellent facilities, reliable fuel, and one of the cheapest prices in Pernambuco. The next day, we continued on to Triunfo, passing through Serra Talhada and Santa Cruz da Baixa Verde. Here's the step-by-step guide for the Recife → Triunfo route: Take BR-232 (Caruaru / Arcoverde / Custodia / Serra Talhada) In Custodia, continue straight on BR-232 (don't turn right at Sítio dos Nunes). Pass the bus station in Serra Talhada and continue until the city entrance. Turn right toward Santa Cruz da Baixa Verde, passing through Jatiúca. Take PE-365 to Triunfo. This route is a little longer, but the road is in better condition than the alternative via Flores. You'll pass through some of the most beautiful roads in Pernambuco and reach the city's gateway, which is incredibly beautiful.
