I had only found out about the Bonn Balloon Festival online a few hours earlier—I hadn't heard of it before. I decided to go on the spur of the moment, and it was truly impressive! The festival is considered one of the most famous events of its kind in Germany and is taking place for the 17th time (June 12–14, 2026).
