The call was initially dispatched as a reported structure fire with 60-Control (dispatch) advising the homeowner was reporting the house was on fire. Engine 116 arrived on scene and reported smoke showing and, with this information, Car 2211 requested to add Bedford Hills' tanker to the assignment. Shortly after, Engine 116 transmitted the 10-75 (working fire assignment) bringing in additional mutual aid resources. The situation was placed under control within roughly 30 minutes.
