Keeway K300N Test Review

We were pretty impressed with the K300R because now we kind of know what to expect from a Keeway bike.. First of, the engine is really smooth just like the full fared version ( K300R). But, we felt that the Naked version has slightly more torque at lower engine rpm. Although this might be due to loosing 14 kg compared to the K300R. The ergonomics are fine, except that you sit .. in the seat, not on the seat. this riding position makes the ergonomics a little bit cramped. Guys with longer legs .. beware. Although my 5.7ft frame is almost a perfect fit. The handling is also almost as expected but, we felt the rear needed a little bit of preload. which we didn't add because getting to the preload adjuster is a big hassle.. needling to remove the chain guard/ splash guard for the said adjustment. Even without adjustment it will be fine for 90% of riders. The brakes... well it's a big disappointment considering it's got radial mounted calipers and all the other supposedly good hardware. The matter is worsen by the too intrusive ABS. Is the Keeway K300N worth the price of around 2.9+ onroad here in Aizawl.. well if you're looking for a an aggressive looking Naked bike with comfortable ergos and a really smooth engine ( which acts and sounds almost exactly like a KTM) .. LOOK NO FURTHER.. 😎🤟
