Patagonia – Aguja Guillaumet Fly & Climb | Fabian Buhl Adventure Movie

​ ‪@fabi_buhl‬ has long dreamed of combining fly and climbing in Patagonia, a place that has deeply shaped his path as both a pilot and a climber. “In 2020, I flew down from Cerro Torre,” Fabian recalls, “but I realized I needed to truly learn to fly — to become the best pilot I could be and treat this sport with respect.” Over the following years, he refined his skills and brought his friend Felix into the journey: “Flying into the mountains and then climbing instead of hiking for hours or days is a total game changer.” In December 2024, Fabian and Felix Sattelberger attempted something never done before — Patagonia’s first fly & climb combo.They took off from Loma del Diablo, landed at Paso Guillaumet, and climbed Aguja Guillaumet via the Brenner–Moschioni route. “The wind on the summit was tricky, but we managed to take off with our small wings.” After several tries, Felix caught a rotor and launched, followed shortly by Fabian, completing a six-hour loop of flying, climbing, and flying again — all within a single perfect weather window. “It felt like a full circle.
