2026 CA State championship MBGP

All state championship criterium at the Manhattan Beach GP course. This race was crazy with ages 55-80. Strange category choices. I was in good position on bell lap and I hit a rain gully and dropped my chain and went to last place....luckily I recovered and got the chain on quickly in the little ring and spun up the hill, then hit the big ring which was a 54 tooth. Unfortunately, the dropped chain somehow put my rear derailleur in crash mode and I was stuck in my 54-11. All I could do at that point was drill it to the front and hope for the best. Unfortunately, my best was 6th place :(
