On March 5th 1962 Marilyn attended the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the Golden Globe Awards ceremony on the arm of screenwriter Jose Bolanos, but some of the most iconic pictures of Marilyn that night saw her with friend and fellow actor Rock Hudson. Marilyn wore a fitted V-neck shimmering green sequinned evening gown by Norman Norell with earrings reportedly given to her by Frank Sinatra.
