On our first day in the Lake District, we immersed ourselves in the natural wonders of Ullswater Lake and Aira Force waterfall. Ullswater's beauty left us spellbound, with its shimmering waters reflecting the surrounding mountains. Later, we ventured to Aira Force, where the waterfall's cascading waters created a mesmerizing spectacle. The lush greenery and tranquil atmosphere made it a perfect spot for relaxation and contemplation. It was a day filled with awe-inspiring sights, setting the tone for an unforgettable Lake District journey. We stayed in Pop Art Pod at Ullswater Heights which is about an hour drive from Lake Windermere but worth it as the drive is very scenic and you get accommodation at affordable price.
