We actually made it! In Part 2 of our border journey, we are officially crossing from Gisenyi, Rwanda over to the other side: Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Crossing the Grande Barrière is one of the most famous border checkpoints in East Africa, connecting Rwanda and the DRC.
