Join Ryan as he explores Malaysia and makes his journey up Kinabalu with his friend and local mountain guide. ► LOCATION BACKGROUND: Mount Kinabalu is the highest mountain in Malaysia and Maritime Southeast Asia, located on the island of Borneo in Sabah. With a height of 4,095 metres (13,435 ft), the 28th highest peak in Southeast Asia, and 20th most prominent mountain in the world. The mountain is located in Ranau district, West Coast Division of Sabah, Malaysia.
