Fimmvorduhals trail
The Fimmvorduhals trail is one day extension to the Laugavegur trail in the southern highlands of Iceland. It is a 15 mile hike between two ice caps, each covering a volcano. The trail goes up 1000 metres reaching the Eyjafjallajökull ice cap / volcano which erupted in 2010 causing world wide travel chaos and descends passing 30 waterfalls before reaching Skogar.
