IL PREMIO SPORTALE BERELUCE ALLA GLAROS: QUI L'INCLUSIONE SI FA DAVVERO | SPORTALEinTOUR 2026-06

PARAROWING, INCLUSION, AND COURAGE: THE BERELUCE SPORTS AWARD TO PAOLO ATTOLINO, VINCENZO DI MAIO, AND TEAM GLAROS There are awards that celebrate victories, medals, and sporting achievements. And then there are awards that convey something even greater. In the new episode of SPORTALEinTOUR, recorded at CUS Bari, we met Paolo Attolino, founder and president of Glaros ASD APS, coach Vincenzo Di Maio, and Carmine Cesario, a visually impaired Paralympic athlete, the protagonists of a project that represents an extraordinary example of inclusion through sport. Glaros was born from the commitment of a group of parents who chose to transform sport into a concrete tool for growth, integration, and development of special individuals. Thanks to the collaboration with CUS Bari, the project now involves dozens of boys and girls with various types of disabilities, offering them invaluable sporting, interpersonal, and human opportunities. The results achieved are significant: Italian titles, selections for the Paralympic National Team, and participation in Special Olympics competitions. But what is most impressive is the daily work carried out by coaches, volunteers, families, and athletes to create an environment where each person feels welcomed, respected, and a key player. For this reason, Sportale and Bereluce have decided to award the SPORTALE BERELUCE Award to Paolo Attolino, Vincenzo Di Maio, and the entire team who make this journey possible every day. This recognition goes beyond competitive results and seeks to reward those who demonstrate, with their actions, that inclusion is not just a buzzword to be used at conferences or in communication campaigns, but a responsibility to be lived every day. Over the years, we have awarded the SPORTALE BERELUCE Award to champions, coaches, managers, and top-level sports clubs. This, however, is probably one of the most significant medals in the history of our award. Because it doesn't just celebrate sporting achievements. It celebrates people who, through sport, are able to concretely improve the lives of others. The images in this episode aren't all perfect. And we're proud of that. Some footage was entrusted to one of the team members, because inclusion also means instilling trust and responsibility. Sportale has always highlighted the sporting excellence of Puglia and Basilicata, but above all, the stories that deserve to be known and shared. And this is one of those stories. We invite you to watch the episode, share it, and spread the word about the extraordinary work done by Paolo Attolino, Vincenzo Di Maio, Carmine Cesario, and the entire Glaros team. Follow the official Sportale channels and check Sportale.it every day, the free sports search engine in Puglia and Basilicata. Special thanks to Bereluce, partner of the SPORTALE BERELUCE Award, which supports initiatives capable of generating social value, inclusion, and opportunities for the region. #SPORTALEinTOUR #PremioSportaleBereluce #Pararowing #Rowing #Inclusion #CUSBari #Glaros #Bereluce #Sportale #losportcichiama
