Top 100 Most Expensive Pigeon Breeds

In this video, we present the Top 100 most expensive fancy pigeon breeds found at European shows. The rankings are based on an extensive data study of over 200,000 fancy pigeons exhibited at more than 20 major shows across Germany and France during the last 10 years. We analyzed all recorded sale prices, carefully filtering out extreme outliers to remove unusually high or unrealistic values. From this refined dataset, we calculated average prices, giving greater weight to more recent sales to better reflect current market conditions. Since these figures are average prices, we fully acknowledge that both lower and higher prices are paid or asked for each breed worldwide. The data is based on prices from European exhibitions, and prices may differ in other regions (for example, in Arabia) or in different sales settings such as pigeon shops. Additionally, the prices shown reflect what breeders asked at exhibitions, which may differ from prices requested by merchants or dealers. All prices are primarily displayed in Euros (EUR). They can also be viewed in US Dollars (USD)—the currency conversion does not affect the rankings or comparisons. This analysis offers a clear, data-driven overview of how fancy pigeon values have developed over time and which breeds command the highest prices today.
