Mureung Valley Parking Lot Address: 858-3 Samhwa-dong, Donghae-si, Gangwon-do During filming, we didn't take the circular route, but instead divided the trail into two sections: Management Office - Yongchu Falls and Management Office - Battle Rock. Because filming was on a weekend and crowds were expected, we decided to split the trail into two sections: Yongchu Falls from 5 a.m. and Battle Rock from 3 p.m. Because we wanted to film during these less crowded times, we decided to split the trail into two sections. If you're a frequent hiker and confident in your walking skills, we recommend the circular route. (The circular route offers additional attractions, such as Mireuk Rock, Dutasanseong Fortress, and skyscrapers. It's a total of 7.3 km.) If you're looking to simply see the highlights rather than hiking, we recommend the valley route or Battle Rock route. 1. Management Office - Yongchu Falls / 2.6 km one-way This section is easy to walk, with few steep climbs. You'll encounter breathtaking forest vistas like Mureungbanseok Rock, Samhwasa Temple, Haksodae Falls, Ssang Falls, and Yongchu Falls. There's plenty of shade and plenty of space to sit and rest in the valley, so you can bring snacks and enjoy a picnic-like experience. 2. Management Office ~ Battle Rock / 1.5km one-way The distance is short, but the initial and final climbs are steep. With plenty of breaks along the way, carrying heavy filming equipment, the hike took just under an hour. If you take frequent breaks, the climb won't be too difficult.
