1960 Les Paul played by JD Simo
JD Simo plugs an original 1960 Les Paul straight into a 1966 Fender Vibrolux. This beautiful "Burst" was owned by legendary guitarist, Ed King. With a serial number dating early 1960, this Les Paul has the coveted '59 neck profile. The guitar is loaded with a pair of PAFs which provide the legendary tone that is often replicated but never duplicated. The neck pickup has been replaced with a double-white PAF from '59. In terms of playability and sound, they just don't get any better than this! There is a repaired headstock crack which led Ed to nickname the guitar "Crackhead". The tuning keys have been replaced and the neck re-fretted. Comes with the original hard case. https://cartervintage.com/collections... Videos produced by Jon Roncolato
