Jak wiązać buty trekkingowe - skalnik.pl
We decided to devote today's video to a seemingly trivial, yet crucial, topic if you want to ensure your feet's comfort and safety during mountain hikes. We're focusing on tying trekking boots – Bartek will explain how to do it in a few simple steps to ensure the best possible fit. So – how do you tie your shoes? This is a question you might think you've already answered. However, when it comes to hiking boots, the process (and technique!) is a bit different than in everyday life. Why is this so important? It's simple: tying hiking boots is designed to provide the best possible stabilization and support for your foot, which in turn reduces the risk of injury and also helps avoid annoying blisters and chafing. So, to properly start lacing these types of boots, you first need to carefully remove all the slack, starting from the very beginning, i.e., the toe area. However, the next step might surprise most of you – tying a surgical knot, which helps the laces stay in place; Then, pass them through the first pair of hooks and repeat the knot – this will ensure the trekking boots have optimal ankle support. Just the last hooks and the final surgical knot with a bow – and you're done. Laced this way, your shoes will certainly cause you fewer problems on the trail. But that's not all; in the video, Bartek also reveals how to tie trekking boots using the "window" method – suitable for those with high insteps or metatarsals that are sore after long walks. The main difference is that one or two lace crossings are omitted, right around the sensitive and troublesome area. The rest remains the same – the mandatory positioning of the tongue and finishing the process with surgical knots and a bow. It might seem that there's nothing more to be done on this subject – but in our video, we also present a third method for tying hiking boots: the method bypassing (or loosening) the ankle. This method is used when you don't have much walking planned; It's perfect for city life, camping, or anywhere you don't have to face challenging terrain. In this case, the entire process ends at the ankle, by wrapping the laces around it—bypassing the highest part of the shaft. This gives you the freedom and comfort of low-cut hiking boots. And what if you suffer from toe pain? Then the final, fourth, "toe-skipping" method comes to the rescue. In this method, remove the laces from the entire shoe, and then begin lacing through the eyelets, skipping one or two of the first rows. Continue as usual, as in the previous methods.
