Kiwi & Manly Rugby League Legend, Darrell Williams shares his incredible journey | Grand Final

Darrell Williams, a Lion at heart, a true hard-man who rose from the Mt Albert Lions to overcame the odds and become the first ever Kiwi to win a Grand Final in the New South Wales Rugby League. Playing with up to 8-needles in his knee per match, Darrell's no-nonsense defense and ruthless attitude took him to the highest of the highs: a premiership, playing alongside the likes of Cliff Lyons, Geoff Toovey, Fatty Vautin, Des Hasler, and English hard-man Kevin Ward - some of the greatest names to ever pull on a Manly Jersey If that wasn't enough, Williams played 21 tests for his beloved Kiwis, and played in their incredible 1987 13 - 6 defeat of Australia at Lang Park after they were completely written off.
