Highwood Vintage Contoured Saddles and Raw Vintage Springs Save the Day

For starters, I forgot to mention that I will always use five springs for the extra mass and tuning stability when bending the G string and hitting the B or E at the same time. The vintage saddles weren't really doing it for me. Since I have Highwood Saddles on the three Strats that I play the most, I noticed I was missing them on this '65/66 vintage CAR Strat. And another benefit of the Highwoods that I forgot to mention and one of the main reasons they were developed was to keep the heads of the screws below the crown of the saddle so you don't cut your hand. And, in Eb with the 10-38 Hendrix gauge strings, it is impossible to get any tremolo float unless you get extra long spring claw screws or better yet, get a vintage tension correct set of Raw Vintage springs by Xotic.
