TMT Morocco THE END | From the Sahara to the Atlantic
This video covers the final days of my journey across Morocco and the completion of the Trans Morocco Trail (TMT). Day 12 began with saying goodbye to Aurelien. After several crashes and some damage to his bike, he decided to leave the TMT for good. I can’t blame him; his adventure wasn’t ending in Morocco. His plan was to continue south through Mauritania and Senegal, so preserving the bike was the smart choice. Fortunately, our paths crossed again over the next couple of days. We met at hotels along the way and eventually said our final goodbye near Tan-Tan before heading in different directions. Today’s stage was short, only about 80 km. I felt like taking it easy, arriving at the hotel early, and enjoying some well-deserved rest. The track was fast and flowing, and I reached the end of the stage in no time. Day 13 started early, as usual. I headed straight into the desert for what would be one of the most remote stages of the entire trip. For kilometers at a time, there was no sign of life, human or animal. With the finish line finally within reach, I took the last kilometers at a steady pace, fully aware that a single mistake could ruin the entire journey right at the very end. A few hours later, I finally reached the Atlantic Ocean and completed the Trans Morocco Trail. Waiting for me at the coast was my French friend Aurelien, and together we celebrated with a octopus tagine. That evening, I had to make an important decision about the return journey to the ferry in Tangier. My original plan was to continue riding off-road all the way north, but my rear tire was completely worn out and the ferry only sails once a week. After checking the weather forecast, I also saw that heavy rain and significant snowfall were expected in the mountains. In the end, I decided to play it safe and ride the final 1,000 kilometers to Tangier on asphalt, bringing an unforgettable Moroccan adventure to a close. If you're planning to ride the TMT, this series will give you a realistic look at the terrain, challenges, landscapes, desert riding, and daily life on one of the most spectacular motorcycle routes in Morocco. 📍 Route: Icht→ Atlantic Coast (Trans Morocco Trail) ~ 310 km 🏍️ Motorcycle Adventure / Off-Road ⛰️ Terrain: desert tracks, rocky sections, dry riverbeds 🧭 Trans Morocco Trail – Day 12 & 13 00:00 The final chapter begins… 01:02 Watch out for the thorns! 🌵 02:27 Meeting Spanish riders 03:57 Back into the desert 06:01 Camels on a Toyota pickup😳 06:37 Reaching the hotel 08:41 The LAST day of the TMT starts 12:07 Landslides on the route 13:30 The final off-road challenge 20:01 We made it to the Atlantic Ocean 🌊 22:12 Goodbye Aurelien… Next stop: Tangier 32:11 Outro #TransMoroccoTrail #TMTMorocco #MoroccoAdventure #MotorcycleTravel #AdventureBike #KTM890AdventureR #AfricaTwin #MoroccoOffRoad #DesertRiding #OverlandAdventure #AtlanticOcean #Tangier #MoroccoTravel #AdventureMotorcycling #SaharaDesert
