Traditional Slovak HALUSHKI (Glutenfree Potato Dumplings)

Gluten-Free Potato Halushki (Traditional Slovak Dumplings) Ingredients 240 g gluten-free flour 2 medium potatoes 1 egg Salt Water, as needed I used a gluten-free all-purpose flour for dough-based dishes. Instructions First, peel the potatoes. Grate them finely. Add the gluten-free flour. Add one egg. Add salt. While mixing, gradually add water. Every gluten-free flour behaves differently, so add the water gradually until the dough is neither too thick nor too runny. While mixing the dough, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Press the dough through a halushki maker into the boiling water. Let the halushki cook for a few minutes. Once they float to the surface, remove them with a slotted spoon and let them drain in a colander. After draining, rinse the halushki under cold water. You can skip this step if you're serving them right away. Add a teaspoon of lard, stir well, and they're ready. I served my halushki with my grandma's chicken paprikash.
