C&C Mental Omega 3.3.6 - Epsilon #24 (Finale) - Babel on Mental Difficulty

Playthrough of Mental Omega 3.3.6 Epsilon mission #24 - Babel on Mental Difficulty. Your time is over. Allied forces continue the siege of Mental Omega Device. Two of their heroes are currently trying to destroy the final Mental Dynamo in the undergrounds, while remeaning troops lay continious siege to the final stronghold. However, our reinforcements have finally reached the tower. Libra is the key - she must reach the Device to ensure the victory of Epsilon. However, Allies have established several bases along the way - prepare for battle! Stage 1 is Libra Micro Management. You need to be fast or enemy will destroy majority of defenses around the Device. Use your abilities to stop enemy chronoshifts, destroy bases and elliminate the enenty troops. The more outposts you destroy, the less forces you will need to fight in Stage 2, so try to at least destroy enemy ConYards and productions. Once that is done, head to MOD and complete this part. Stage 2 is a defense stage, as ower is activating. Every strike on Tower increases the timer, so try to keep it protected at all costs. If you managed to move fast, you should have triple infantry queue and factory - make Archers and Opus tanks, as enemy wont send infantry towards you. Be careful of Lightning Storms. Stage 3 is defense against Paradox Engine taskforce. Hopefully you made a lot of Archers - use them to shut down majority of enemy forces, use the provided reinforcements to attack the strike force too. Libra can die in 2 shots from Prism Cannons, so try to engage it only when it is attacking something else - like Mental Omega Device - and you should be fine. Stage 4 is probably the hardest one in terms of management. Libra is weaker, but still packs a punch - use her to support the destruction of enemy outpost right outside of your ally's base. Send Irkallas to support that flank too - they will prove to be a good addition to this taskforce. In meanwhile, prepare the base, create defenses and additional Pandora Hub for Psychplug - Psychic Towers can aid a lot against chronoshifts. Libra's task is to go alongside the edge of the map and destroy Blue ConYard and 3 out of 4 Weather Control Devices. Move along the edge - destroying or infiltrating a ConYard summons large group of AI controled units to your side, so dealing with Blue helps a lot. Proceed south, destroy the second WCD and blink through the cliff to lower elevation. From that point proceed further to south, destroy the third WCD and clear the area for infiltration. There is only a group of Robot Tanks and dogs protecting this flank, so carefully pick your targets with Libra - destroy the Production, Power Plants but do not touch ConYard. Once its infiltrated, Soviet forces will appear to help you deal with remnants of this base. Final 2 Con Yards are in the middle. One is protected by single dog and can be fooled easily with Shadow Ring, other one continues to refill Robot Tank patrols. Try to use Stalkers to breach through defenses, you can also recall Irkallas and Basilisks to support the strike. I havent managed to get all 3 of infiltrators inside, and i didnt bother to repeat it again. Im long overdue in schedule. Stage 5 is Infiltration of Prism Conduits. Each infiltration disables 2 out of 6 Prism Cannons and aids you in last part of the mission. There are a lot of side tasks and minigames on this one, and its easy to get lost - be careful of how do you approach the tasks at hand or you will end up just like me. Stage 6 is final assault on Paradox Engine. Use your forces to slowly destroy the chronoshifted taskforces and finally use Libra to assault the Paradox Engine from safe distance. Once you damage it below certain HP treshold, the final strike will begin, marking the end of the mission. I was tired of the two week battle with this one. But now? It's time to get back on the track. Foehn missions next. And then? Covert Ops and Co-Ops.
