Episode 8_多洛米蒂（上）｜🇮🇹 不用去瑞士也能看盡一生的風景！ 日照金山 童話峽谷 藍色瑪瑙湖泊 雲霧繚繞山中小屋 義大利阿爾卑斯山 ⛰️

This time, we set off on a dreamy Dolomites road trip! ⛰️ We flew from Manchester to Venice, picked up our rental car, and drove north into the mountains. According to the weather forecast, only the first day of our three-day trip would be sunny, so we rushed to Val di Funes to catch the “golden peaks at sunset”! In the evening, we strolled through the valley, waiting for the sun to light up the mountain peaks. The view was absolutely breathtaking. At night, we enjoyed dinner at a cozy local restaurant. The pizza easily made it into our Top 3, and we also ordered deer goulash, a bit leaner than beef, but still tender and full of flavor. Interestingly, many locals in this part of the Dolomites still speak German. The region, South Tyrol (Alto Adige), used to belong to Austria-Hungary before World War I, so German has remained widely spoken alongside Italian. The next morning, we visited the dreamy Lago di Braies. Although we didn’t get to row, the lake was still stunningly turquoise, like polished agate. In the afternoon, we headed to Tre Cime di Lavaredo, only to be met with heavy rain, dense fog, and strong winds. We had no choice but to take shelter in a mountain hut, sipping hot chocolate and enjoying apple strudel, a cozy, unforgettable moment despite the storm. On the way back, we had dinner in Corvara and stayed at a family-run B&B. The owner personally prepared breakfast, and the view from our window was breathtaking. The atmosphere felt incredibly warm and homely 🏡. 🎬 Our Dolomites adventure isn’t over yet! In the next episode, we’ll take you to the spectacular Seceda and the Alpine chaos of Alpe di Siusi!
