(Advanced Open Water ) Scuba Diving to 100 feet with a balloon!
Scuba Diving to 100 feet with a balloon, to blow it up and demonstrate just what happens as we ascend back to the surface. Lyell will discuss the effects that water pressure has on objects and why it relates to scuba divers. We will descend to 100 feet, blow up a balloon and then try to control it as we ascend. We will touch on the topic of Boyle's Law: This empirical relation, formulated by the physicist Robert Boyle in 1662, states that the pressure (p) of a given quantity of gas varies inversely with its volume (v) at constant temperature. (But we will leave that really detailed and geeky science discussion for a later episode.) In this episode.......let's just see if we can get back to the surface without it exploding!!! Thanks to our friends at Triton's Realm for their aid in making this video! Welcome to Everything Scuba!
