As we were leaving Oman, the first Arab tribe invited us, and Léna was able to interact alone with Middle Eastern women for the first time. We learned about weddings in the Middle East and in Dhofar, Oman, and discovered Al Khatla, the end of the Khareef (monsoon season), and the great migration of dromedaries from the beaches of the Indian Ocean to the mountains of Dhofar. Then, before heading to Saudi Arabia and Iraq, we traveled to the desert dunes of the Empty Quarter.
