Capture Demo and Playthrough of a CS Silvertone 610, 1485 - Tonex, Cortex, NAM, Proxy

The Silvertone 1485 was Sears' top-of-the-line tube amp from the 1960s, built by Danelectro as a piggyback head paired with a 6x10" cabinet loaded with Jensen C10Q speakers. It put out 120 watts with a frequency response of 40–20,000 Hz, and packed in reverb, tremolo, a footswitch, ground switch, standby mode, and a spare 110V outlet — at nearly $240, it was the most powerful and most expensive tube amp Sears ever sold. Five 12AX7 preamp tubes drive four 6L6 power tubes through two output transformers, giving it shining cleans and a notably strong tremolo, and it's gained a cult following in large part because Jack White has used one extensively. 🎸 CAPTURES OUT ON FRIDAY 10/07 for ToneX, Quad Cortex, NAM and Proxy: https://www.amalgamcaptures.com/
