After registering our marriage with Konomi, we were short on time. Far from a honeymoon, we had to go back to our respective jobs and work hard starting the very next day. Days passed, months passed... After working incredibly hard, we were finally able to pay off all our debts. However, once we paid off the debt, there was almost no money left in our bank account. A honeymoon was still just a dream. Yet, Konomi never once showed any sign of disappointment. "A honeymoon or a wedding isn't necessarily the most important thing. We can just keep living well like this, and go when we have the means later." She always said this with a smile. Every time I heard those words, I felt even more apologetic, and I thought that someday, I really wanted to give her the gift of time just the two of us. So, this time, I quietly prepared for it.
