¿Todos opinamos lo mismo en diabetes tipo 2?

With the help of endocrinologist Ángel Rebollo, pharmacist Ignacio Fernández, member of the Córdoba Pharmacists' Association, and Ana María Álvarez, president of the Federation of Diabetes Associations of Andalusia and a person with type 2 diabetes, we discussed on +.D2 the survey conducted by Dexcom and FEDE on the perception of type 2 diabetes in Spain. During this dialogue, key issues were addressed, such as the lack of priority given to health in public policies, the broad social consensus in favor of prevention and early detection, the perceived lack of information, and territorial inequalities in access to healthcare technology. The debate also brought to the forefront society's trust in technology and artificial intelligence applied to health, as well as the challenge of moving towards a more equitable and personalized model for addressing type 2 diabetes.
