60 years of Lyreacrompane N.S.

As part of the Heritage Keepers Initiative the children had to undertake a project based on their local area. As our school was 60 years old in 2023 the children decided they would like to learn more about what school life was like over the last 60 years. What was different from their school lives now? What is the same? The children compiled a list of questions and invited parents and members of the community to talk about their time at school. We also came upon old photos and footage of a sports day that took place on our school grounds. This project was kindly funded by Burren Beo Trust.
