Now that’s another story. Disabilities don't hurt...people do. This video series is going to be one near and dear to my heart, including both the good AND the bad of growing up disabled, being treated differently for it, and also learning how to accept it. And…accept myself. A different experience, and a different way of living. But...different can be good! Welcome to episode 1, autism animated! I tried to explain autism with real life examples and personal stories - more storytimes will be in future episodes, I just wanted to explain autism for the people who didn't know what it was, or were under the wrong assumptions about it. Even though it's becoming more and more known, it doesn't mean that knowing one autistic person means knowing EVERY autistic person.
